CD Project Red has just published a holiday update for its PVP game Popular Went: The Witcher Card Game. The update has not only added a ton of cosmetic products for holidays, but also added a new exclusive currency system to the event.
WENT: The Witcher Card Game is an online collectible card game where players compete with carefully designed decks. You collect deck cards belonging to 6 different factions. Each faction has its own style of play, strengths and weaknesses. You play cards that increase and / or decrease various statistics on the two rows on your side of the tray, the row of melee and the row remotely. Once a player has won two of the three sleeves, he won the game. The player with the highest total force on his side of the tray wins the handle. Went is a spin-off card game of the same name found in the series of games and books The Witcher.
The annual winter event added a new monetary system called pineapples. This new currency can be used to buy limited cosmetic products to events such as cards and titles. Pineapples are only available for the duration of the event and can be used via a dedicated page in the reward book. Players can get pineapples by playing game every day, doing daily quests and winning games in standard, seasonal and draft games.
Players who own Gerald Leader skin will also have access to additional content during the event. The content in question is two special contracts that each have a single reward. A red hat and a sugar cane jewel for Gerald will be rewarded with the player at the end of these contracts.
Finally, WENT: The Witcher Game also offers sales on its shop at game. Players can buy the Midwinter Bundle and the Frozen Bundle on sale.
